Wagner Dantas is a trial attorney with more than two decades
of experience handling criminal and civil cases. Mr. Dantas focuses
his practice on criminal defense and civil litigation in the areas of
Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Mr. Dantas has spent a combined twelve years as a public defender
in Florida, Georgia, Washington DC, and Maryland managing both a
high volume of misdemeanor and serious felony cases.


He has successfully represented clients in a variety of cases
such as high-stakes homicides, trafficking and conspiracy,
drug cases, sex abuse and rape.

Beyond represent defendants in criminal cases, Mr. Dantas has
many years of experience representing clients in family law cases
such as divorce, alimony, custody, and guardianship.

In addition, Mr. Dantas has represented many defendants charged
with DUI, DWI and OWI cases in DC and Maryland, ensuring that
his clients receive the robust defense they deserve. Mr. Dantas
expertise extends to addressing a wide spectrum of traffic violations.


Mr. Dantas is a personal, smart, and experienced lawyer with
outstanding track record of obtaining excellent results on behalf
of his clients. Mr. Dantas attends regularly local and national

Mr. Dantas is originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and speaks
fluent Portuguese and Spanish. He regularly organizes workshops
and seminars tailoring the Spanish and Brazilian communities in
Maryland and Washington, DC.

These events cover essential legal topics such as immigration civil
rights, criminal law, business startup strategies, family law matters.
Many of Mr. Dantas’ clients are immigrants without documentation
who are facing both criminal charges and the risk of deportation.
Mr. Dantas also retain cases from immigrants seeking various types
of visas including Business Visa Services Investor Visas (EB5).
